Prolonging the First Milestone

I was expecting to have the second round of IUI today or tomorrow.  As it turns out the only inconsistent part about a woman’s cycle is when she ovulates.  It usually does happen within a certain timeframe of the cycle.  It is rare that it occurs on the same day or two from month to month.  So, I’m still waiting to hit the “surge”.  Once the “surge” happens, I’ll have the procedure the following day.

As I’m waiting to get called to the stage, I remembered being in tap, jazz, and gymnastics at Dance Expressions.  I was always the tall skinny kid.  I did not have a lot of coordination and I was not flexible.  I did have a mom and dad that supported my dream to be a dancer!  Each year, we would end the dance season with a recital.  When I say recital, it was an all-day event.  We knew about when we’d preform.  Then, we would add a couple of hours because it never ran on time.  It was so much fun to go out on that stage.  We’d get to show off our skills that we learned.  Usually this meant that I didn’t fall on my face.  After we preformed, we would go back to waiting until the finale…many many hours later.

We wait a lot during life.  During this time of waiting, I chose to fill the time with some spring cleaning and cookie baking (that also requires waiting for the dough to come to temperature).

Fill the waiting period with things you love to do!

Hugs, C

P.S. I know you’re probably thinking…she did dance recitals?  Where’s the proof?  Keep scrolling for a couple of glamor shots!
